Mrs. Gangwer was born May 3, 1869 in Easton, a daughter of the late Jermiah and Anna Vogel Ackerman. Her husband was the late Raymond J. Gangwer. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Easton, and the Rachel Circle of the Church, She sang in the chuch choir for many years until two years ago. Survivors include a son, Harry R. Easton; a granddaughter and two great-granddaughters. Funeral arrangments are being made by the Strunk Funeral Home, Easton.
