Claude H. Altemose
Claude H. Altemose, 63, of 1813 Liberty St., Allentown, died
Saturday in Allentown Hospital.
Born in Nazareth, he as a son of the late Floyd and Mamie
Werkheiser Altemose. He was graduated from Nazareth high School.
Mr. Altemose was employed in the shipping department of Hess’s
of Allentown.
He was a coast Guard Veteran of World War IIi and a member
of St. Michael’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Greenleaf
Lodge 561, F&AM; Jordon Royal Arch Chapter 305; Allen Commandery
20, Tall cedars of Lebanon and Lehigh Consistory, all of Allentown,
and the Shrine of Reading. He also was a member of the VFW
and American Legion posts in Allentown.
Survivors include two brothers, Lester, Nazareth, and Ralph,
Chicago, Ill.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Bartholomew
Funeral Home, Nazareth. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. |
