Clyde N. Apgar
Clyde N. Apgar, Jr., 92, of Thousand Oaks, Ca., passed away
on Tuesday, July 27, 2004, following a short illness.
Born: in Easton, PA.
Personal: Clyde was raised in Easton, PA. He married Ruth
Gebhart and they raised their family in Riegelsville and
Mildford, NJ. Ruth passed away in 1972. Clyde married Thelma
Day and together in retirement they moved to Carlsbad, NM.
Thelma passed away in 2000.
Clyde was employed for 34 years by the Riegel Paper Corp.
as the supervisor of packing, shipping and receiving. He
was active in Milford politics, holding positions as councilman
and Mayor. As Mayor, Clyde was instrumental in the establishment
of the sever system and public library.
Clyde had a full life and will be missed by family and friends.
Survivors: two sons, his grandchildren, and
two great-grandchildren.
Services: A memorial service will be held this summer at
Greenwich Cemetery in Stewartsville, NJ. Funeral arrangements
are under the direction of Pierce Brothers "Griffin
Mortuary, Thousand Oaks, Ca.
