Asher Borwn, 91, Retired Knitter
Asher T. Brown, 91, formerly of 203 Madison Ave., Nazareth, died yesterday in the Lutheran Home, Topton, where he was a guest since March 1969.

Mr. Brown was a retired knitter. He had been employed by Nazareth Mills and Kramer Textile Co.

Born June 25, 1879, in Palmer township, he was a son of the late William H. and Sarah Abel Brown.

He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Nazareth; IOOF, Hecktown, and the Knights of Friendship and the POS of A, Nazareth.

Mr. Brown and his wife, the former Eva Roth, also a guest at the Lutheran Home, observed their 67th wedding anniversary last November.

His widow is his only survivor.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Bartholomew Funeral Home, Nazareth, Interment will be in Hope Cemetery, Hecktown.
