Newhart, 84, of Gracedale, Nazareth R.1, formerly of 1418 Montrose Ave., Bethlehem, died Thursday in Easton Hospital. She was the wife of the late James O. Newhart. She was employed in the food service department of Quaker State Vending Co. for 10 years in the late 1960s. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Annie (Tenges) Brown. She was a member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church, Bethlehem. Survivors: Son, of Bethlehem; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m. Monday, Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem. Call 10-11 a.m. Monday.
