John W Brown
John W Brown, 80, of Belfast, died last night at the Zohlman Nursing
Home, Richlandtown, where he had been a guest six months.
He was a son of the late Edward and Margaret Kreidler Brown and was
born in Palmer Township Jan 14, 1890. He had been a self-employed carpenter
and electrician for many years and had worked at the Industrial Cleaners,
Easton, for 10 years before retiring in 1955.
He had been a member of Easton A Lodge 45t, Loyal Order of Moose,
for 50 Years.
He is survived by a son, Thomas R., Palmer Township, Two daughters,
Mrs. Millicent Smith, Long Beach, Calif, and Mrs. Bonnie Beers, Danielsville;
two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Walters of Hecktown and Mrs, Susan Knecht,
Easton RD 2; one grandchild and three great-grandchildren. His wife,
Lottie Gruver and a brother Jacob preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 11.am Monday at the Bartholomew Funeral
Home, Nazareth, with burial in Hope Cemetery, Hecktown.
