Frederick E. Brunstetter Sr., 72, of 608 W. Wilkes-Barre St., Easton, died Saturday in Easton Hospital. He was the husband of Dorothy Irene (Grube) Brunstetter, who died in 1986.

He worked for the former Atlantic Container Co., Easton, before retiring.

Born in Easton, he was a son of the late Walter and Johanna (Piefer) Brunstetter.

He was a member of Easton Mennonite Church.

He served in the Army during World War II.

Survivors: Sons, the Rev. Charles E., Frederick E. Jr., Donald J., Kenneth W., Barry W. and James D., all of Easton, Robert D. and Terry A., both of Souderton, and Richard L. of Yakima, Wash.; daughters, Bonnie L. Merwarth of Easton and Doreen R. Rosenberg, with whom he resided; brother, Albert Piefer of Schwenksville, Montgomery County; sister, Miriam Snyder of Wilson; 37 grandchildren and 23 great- grandchildren.

Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Strunk Funeral Home, Berwick Street at Reynolds, Easton
