Arthur J. Cather, was owner of market in P’burg
Arthur J. Cather, 56, of Easton R.D. 1, Forks Township, Pa., died Tuesday at Easton Hospital where he had been a patient since Dec. 8. He was the owner of Cather’s Market in Phillipsburg since1956.
Born Oct 4, 1933, in Easton, he was a son of the late Robert and Mabel Sandt Cather.
He lied in Forks Township for 12 years, previously residing in Phillipsburg.
He was a member of the Lutheran faith and a member of the Young Republican Club in Easton. he graduated from Easton Area High School in 1952.
Surviving are his wife, the former Joan E. Cornelius; three sons, ****, of Turtle Creek Pa., ******, at home and ******. of Phillipsburg; two brothers, Robert L. of Waldron Ark, and William of Sterling, Va.; and two grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Rupell Funeral home in Phillipsburg. Interment will be in the Forks Church Cemetery in forks Township. |
