Harriette S. Freudenberger, 83, of 67 W. Ettwein St., Bethlehem, died Sunday
in St. Luke's Hospital. She was the wife of Lewis A. Freudenberger. They were
married 65 years in December.
She and her husband operated the Zesto soft ice cream business
in Allentown for 19 years before retiring in 1971. Before that
she worked at Central Bowling Lanes Bethlehem, and Wal-Ten
Lanes, Allentown, for 14 years.
Born in South Easton, she was a daughter of the late John
Jacob and Rosa (Zaun) Coken.
She was a member and former Sunday school teacher at Holy
Trinity Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.
Survivors: Husband, sons, ***** of Hellertown and *****. of
Abbottsford, British Columbia; daughters,***** of Norwalk,
Conn., and *****, wife of Richard *****, of Marietta, Ga.;
brothers, John of Bethlehem and William of Cleveland, Ohio;
nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. |
