Funeral service for Dr. E.O. Cyphers in Belleville
Funeral services for Dr. Edward O. Cyphers of Belleville, who
died Saturday, were conducted Monday night in his home by Rev.
Charles W. Phopham, former paster of the Christ Episcopal church,
that town, in conjunction with rites by the Belleville Lodge,
F. and A.M. Interment was made today in Christ Parish cemetery,
Belleville.
Dr. Cyphers was president of the Belleville Library Board,
former president of the Board of Trade and former township
committeeman, town councilman and twon physcician.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Alice B. Cyphers, a daughter, Miss
Dorothy, and a son, Edward L. Cyphers, two sisters, Mrs. Ella
Stewart and Mrs. Austin Fisher of Washington, N.J., and four
brothers, James and William, of Washingtonn, Mark of Scranton
and Samuel of Valentine, Neb. |
