William H. Cyphers, Was DL&W Carpenter
William H. Cyphers, 83, Washburn Avenue, Washington, N.J., died last night at his home after a short illness.

Mr. Cyphers was employed for many years at American Sanitary Works, Washington. He later worked as a carpenter for the Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Railroad. He retired in 1943.

A lifelong resident of Washington, he was a son of the late Mark and Elizabeth Kiefer Cyphers.

He was a member of Washington Methodist Church, Junior OUAM and the P.O.S. of A., both of Washington.

Surviving are his widow, the former Helen Fisher; a son, Samuel A., at home; two daugthters, Mrs. Helen C. Wilsmack, Fort Collins, Colo., and Harriet C. Cyphers, at home, and a grandchild.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Ford Funeral Home, Washington.
