Dr. H. E. Deemer Died Suddenly
Had Been Ill Only Short Time With Pneumonia; Funeral Wednesday
Dr. and Mrs. W. R. Deemer of Fremont and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Graves of Vickery left Monday for Jefferson, O;., where they were called by the death of Dr. Horace E. Deemer, a brother of the Fremont physician.
Dr. Deemer died early Sunday following a grief illness with pneumonia. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Worman Deemer, and several children. Dr. Deemer was a native of Fremont, and spent many years here, both as a boy and later, when he practiced medicine here. He also practiced for some years in Vickery and in Antwerp, O. For the last few years he has made his home in Ashtabula county.
Funeral services were held Wednesday and were attended by relatives and friends from this section. News of Dr. Deemer's death was a shock to relatives and acquaintances here as he was ill only a short time. He visited in Fremont just a few weeks ago. |
