Funeral Of
A Bristol Woman
North Bristol, Dec 2. The funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth Diehl
was held at the Disciple church Sunday morning. The services
were conducted by Rev. Wakefield of Haram, who spoke tenderly
and beautifully of the pure and noble life of the deceased.
A quartet composed of Mr. and Mrs. Burt Osborne, W.W. Flowers
and Miss Ina Belle Fonton, discoursed sweet and appropriate
songs. Miss Mary Thompson, organist. Mrs. Diehl died of pneumonia
at the home of Mrs. M. Norton, with whom she had lived the
last few months. Her husband, John Diehl, died eight years
ago in Nebraska. Mrs. Diehl's maiden name was Elizabeth Barb,
only sister of Henry Barb. Three sons are living, Isaac in
Utah, Henry and Charles in Idaho. She was nearly 73 years of
age, was buried in East Bristol Cemetery. Pallbeareres, Messrs.
