Mrs. Matilda K. Portner
Matilda K. Portner, widow of the late Conrad Portner, died
at her home on Market Street at 5:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon
of dropsy, aged 78 years.
Mrs. Portner kept a saloon on Market street for a number of
years and was a native of Germany. Mrs. Jacob Miller, of Easton,
is a daughter of the deceased woman, and Herman Sundermear,
of Philadelphia, and John Sundermear, of Riverside, N.J., are
brothers, and Charles Hulmes, of Phillipsburg, a grandson.
Mrs. Portner was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Easton. |
