Chester Frankenfield

Chester F. Frankenfield, 89, of Bethlehem died Thursday, May 9, in St. Luke's Hospital. He worked for the Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 41 years, retiring in 1975. Born March 20, 1913, in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Titus and Stella Reichard Frankenfield. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Bethlehem. He served in the Navy during World War II. He and his wife, the former Elizabeth Erney, observed their 60th wedding anniversary in March. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter. A daughter, Jane Breisch, died in 2000. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be

no calling hours. Burial will be in Hellertown Union Cemetery. The Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden St., Bethlehem, is in charge of arrangements. The family requests memorials to the church, 2021 Worthington St., Bethlehem, PA 18017.
