Mrs. Henry Ruth
Following a serious illness of five weeks, Mrs. Gertrude L. Ruth of 20 Highland Street died at her home 4:30 yesterday morning. Born in Allentown, she had been a lifelong resident of this city. She was a daughter of Allen and Lydia Frankenfield.
Mrs. Ruth was a devout member of Dubbs Memorial Reformed Church and was active in church doing prior to her illness.
Surviving her are her husband, Henry Ruth, two daughters, Mrs. Gertrude McFadden and Mrs. Marion Stuntzman and four grandchildren, all of Allentown.
Three brothers, Harvey, Robert and Richard Frankenfield, and five sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Youss, Mrs. Flora Schmoyer, Mrs. Lillie Bechtel, Mrs. Minnie Torrence and Mrs. Maggie Lynn also survive her.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock daylight savings time, Monday afternoon at the home, and interment will be made in Greenwood Cemetery. |
