Frank Freeman, Auto Salesman, Stricken Fatally
Frank Kugler (Bucky) Freeman, 63, of 2666 Washington Blvd.,
Palmer Township, died at 1:15 a.m. today in Easton Hospital.
He was hospitalized at 12:05 a.m. after suffering a heart
attack at his home. He had a heart condition for the last three
years.
Mr. Freeman was an automobile salesman for Rader and Leauber
Motor Co, since 1936. He was employed by Binney & Smith
Inc. for about a year during World War II.
Born on Aug 23, 1898 in Phillipsburg, he was a son of Mrs.
Daisy Kugler Freeman, now of Clinton, and the late Chauncey
Freeman. He attended Phillipsburg, Easton and Wilson Elementary
schools and Wilson High School.
Mr. Freeman was a veteran of World War I. He served in the
Navy.
He was a member of Pioneer Athletic Association, Palmer Volunteer
Fire Co., West Easton Athletic Association, Palmer Township
Fire Co., Naturalized Citizens Americanization League, Lester
Pfeffer Post 611, American Legion; Order of Fleas, and the
Weston Club. He managed the Weston Club softball team several
years ago.
Surviving are his mother, his widow, the former Jennie Klova;
three stepchildren, Jimmie and Beverly Martin, both of Easton
and Jeanette, wife of Bruce Stewart, Belvidere; a brother,
Harry, Wilson; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Hodulik, Clinton, and three
grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Katinia Funeral
Chapel, Wilson. |
