Mrs. W. Sanderson
Mrs. Florence G. Sanderson, 78 of 279 Bates Street, Phillipsburg,
was stricken while a customer at the New Jersey State Bank
yesterday and was dead on arrival at Warren Hospital.
Her husband, William H. Sanderson, died in 1957.
Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late George and
Mary Smith Garis. She has lived in the area all her life.
A member of the First United Church of Christ, and the ladies'
Bible class of the church she was also a member of Delaware
Chapter No. 50, Order of Eastern Star, and the Cedarettes Auxiliary,
both of Phillipsburg.
Survivors include two sons, *****, Blairstown, N.J.,
*****, Bethlehem Township; a daughter, ******,
Melbourne, Fla.; a brother George E. Garis, Easton; a sister,
Mrs. Nellie Rapp, Easton, and six grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday from the Rupell Funeral
Home, Phillipsburg. Interment will be in Easton Cemetery. Delaware
Chapter No. 50, Order of Eastern Star, will hold services at
7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. |
