Mrs. John Walter
Mrs. Jennie Garis Walter, 89, of 26 N. 4th St. died at 7 p.m.
yesterdayin Easton Hospital, where she had been a patient since
June 28.
Born in Williams Township, she was a daughter of the late
David and Elizabeth Diehl Garis. Her husband John Walter, died
about 20 years ago.
She was a member of Memorial United church of Christ, Wilson.
Surviving are a nephew, Howard D. Siegfried, Palmer Township,
and three nieces, Mrs. Irene Locke, Media, PA, and Miss Nellie
Siegfried, and Mrs. Hazel Jebbs, both of Easton.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday from the Ashton
Funeral Home, Easton.
