Mrs. W. Johnson, Nurse at Former Easton Sanitarium
Mrs. Bertha G. Johnson, 90, formerly of 215 S. West St., Easton,
died yesterday in Gracedale where she resided for six months.
She was a practical nurse for over 40 years, and worked for
the former Easton sanitarium, College hill, and for 22 years
at Gracedale, retiring in 1954. She was also a private duty
nurse.
Born in Bangor on April6, 1888, she was a daughter of the
late Henry and Josephine Correll Good, She moved to Easton
in 1915.
She was a member of the Grace United Church of Christ, Easton.
Her husband, William J. Johnson, died in 1942.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Luree Arnold, Wilson, and
*****, Palmer Township, three grandchildren and
a great-grandson.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Shillinger Funeral
Home, Easton. Interment will be in Easton Cemetery. |
