Arranetta E. Young -- council leader's sister
Arranetta E. Young, 75, formerly of Alpha and Palmer Township, died Sunday, Oct. 25, in PersonaCare at Eastwood, Wilson Borough.
Born Jan 14, 1923, in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Emma Leh Grube.
She was a member of St. Mark's United Church of Christ Church in Easton and its 59ers group. She was a 1940 graduate of Easton High School.
Her husband, Paul W., died March 2, 1978.
She is survived by a daughter,**** of York, Pa.; a sister, ***** of Phillipsburg; a brother, Wayne Grube, Northampton County Council president, of Bethlehem; and two grandsons. Two sisters, Pauline Grube and Beatrice Lennox, and a brother, Walter Grube, died earlier.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton St., Wilson Borough. Call 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine in Palmer Township. |
