Warren "Si" Grube, 78, of 203 Morrison Ave., Easton, died Saturday in his home. He was the husband of Ruth (Werkheiser) Grube.
He was a partner and operator of the former Grube and Betts Sporting Goods Store, Easton, for 35 years until retiring in 1970. Prior to that, he worked in the sporting goods department of Keifer Hardware Store, Easton, for many years.
Born in Berwick, Columbia County, he was a son of the late Thomas and Anna Grube.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Easton.
He served in the Navy during World War II.
Surviving with his widow are two daughters, Mrs. ***** of San Jose, Calif., and Mrs. ***** of Stockertown, and four grandchildren.
Services will be at the convenience of the family in the Ashton Funeral Home, 14th and Northampton streets, Easton. |
