William H. Grube Jr., 78, of 611 Penn St., Bath, died Wednesday in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Louise K. (Focht) Grube, who died in 1993.
He was a mechanic at Rehrig's Garage, Bath, for eight years before retiring in 1980. Before that he was a crane operator at the former National Portland Cement Co., Nazareth, for 25 years. After retiring, he was a service attendant at the Bath Laundromat and a custodian at the Bath Senior Citizens Center.
Born in Hellertown, he was a son of the late William H. Sr. and Emily (Strawn) Grube.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Bath.
Survivors: Daughter, ****, and a brother, Paul D. Sr., both of Bath; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, William N., and daughters, Carol Grube and Diane Berger*.
Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, George G. Bensing Funeral Home, Moorestown. Call 7-9 p.m Friday. |
