George B. Gruver
George B. Gruver, 88, a resident of Mount Bethel, died last
night at Monroe county General Hospital, East Stroudsburg.
He was a son of the late Reuben J. and Sarah A. Hilliard Gruver.
He spent all his life in Mount Bethel. He was associated with
the Gurver-Rasley general store in Mount Bethel until the business
was sold 30 years ago. He had been retired since that time.
Mr. Gruver never married. He was a member of Christ Lutheran
Church, Stone Church.
Several cousins are his closest relatives.
Services will be held on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Horton
Funeral Home, Johnsonville. |
