Howard Gruver, 57, Lehigh Valley Transit Employee for 39 Years
Howard (Whitey) Gruver, 57, of 1502 Light Street, died last night at 9:30 o’clock in Easton Hospital after an illness of eight months. Mr. Gruver was employed as a bus driver and trolley car operator for 39 years for the Lehigh Valley Transit Company.

He was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran church, Aerie No. 111, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Vanderveer Lodge No. 705, I. O. O. F.; Encampment No. 196, I.O.O.F.; Charity Rebekah Lodge, No. 3, I. O. O. F. the Ancient Mystic Order of Samaritans and the Amalgamated Association of Street and Electric Railway Employees of America, all of Easton.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Anna E. Gruver, a son, Kenneth E. of Easton; a grandchild; one brother, John W. Gruver, of Bethlehem, and two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Felker and Mrs. Anna Henzelman, both of Easton
