Hiram C. Hackman
Hiram C. Hackman, 84, of 436 South 21st Street, died Saturday
afternoon at Gracedale, Nazareth R.D. 1.
Mr. Hackman, a lifelong resident of Easton and its immediate
vicinity, lived at the 21 st street address since 1935.
Before retiring about 10 years ago, he was employed as a
clerk at the Easton YMCA. Earlier he had been a machinist
for mnay years in the old Lehigh Valley Railroad shops here.
Born in Easton, he ws a son of the late Hiram and Charlotte
Elizabeth Wilhelm Hackman. He was of the Methodist faith,
and was a member of the Easton Eagle Lodge and Columbia Lodge
I.O.O.f., Easton.
His only immediate survivor is a sister, Mrs. George W.
Young, of Easton.
