Shirley H. Boss, private duty nurse.
Shirley H. Boss, 70, of Holland Township, died Sunday, Nov
29, in Hunterdon Medical Center.
She was a homemaker. Years ago she was a nurse in Abington
Hospital, and was a private duty nurse.
Born Nov. 14, 1927, in Phillipsburg, she was a daughter
of Helen Kugler Hackman of Lopatcong Township, and the late
William Hackman.
She was a member of the Milford Presbyterian Church where
she was a former Sunday school teacher.
She was a 1946 graduate of Phillipsburg High School and
a 1959 graduate of Abington Memorial Hospital School of Nursing.
She and her husband, Henry, observed their 48th wedding
anniversary Nov. 19.
In addition to her husband she is survived by three sons,
four sisters, eight grandchildren
and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be private. There will be no calling hours.
The W.E. Johnson Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Holland Township,
is in charge of arrangements.
