Earl W. Hager
Earl William Hager, 214 Berk St., Palmer Township, died this morning in Eaton Hospital. He was hospitalized with a heart attack Monday.
Born in Wangersville, July 10 1898, he was a son of the late Edward and Laura Kramer Hager. He lived in the Palmer Township area all his life.
Mr. Hager was employed one time by the Taylor-Wharton Co. he later worked as a farmhand. He was employed 10 years as a truck driver by the Metropolitan Edison Co. and for the last six years was greens keeper at the Green Pond Country Club.
He was a member of St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, Palmer Township, and palmer township Fire Co.
Survivors include his widow the former Beulah S. Sterner; three daughters, Mildred, wife of Paul Ellicott, Bethlehem Township; Grace, wife of Reno Buss, Palmer Township, and Shirley, wife of Dean Lampman, Northampton R.D2; three grandchildren, and a brother, Raymond, Quakertown.
The funeral will be held at 1:30p.m. Saturday at the Katinis Funeral Chapel, Wilson. |
