George W. Hahn, 97, Operated Building Business in Nazareth.

George W. Hahn, 97, formerly of 60 N. New St., Nazareth, died Saturda7 in Fellowship Bible home. Nazareth. He was one of Nazareth’s oldest residents.

In 1920 he started his own business and learning the building trade, operated it until retiring in 1967.

A member of the Nazareth Moravian Church, he served as a trustee and diener for many years. He also was a past officer of the Moravian Historical Society.

A native of Bethlehem Township, he was a son of the late Llewellyn P. and Ellen Rasley Hahn.

He was a member of Whitfield Lodge F&AM, Tatamy; Lehigh Consistory, Allentown, and POS of A, Nazareth.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Nelson M. Snyder, Nazareth and Mrs. Maynard Frankenfield, Bethlehem; two grandchildren, three step-grandchildren four great-great grandchildren and five step –great-grandchildren. His wife, the former Clara Seyfried, died before him.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Bartholomew Funeral Home, Nazareth. Interment will be in Moravian Cemetery, Nazareth.

He was a guest in the home for the last three years.
