Helen J. Chegwidden, medical secretary
Helen Jean Chegwidden, 81, of 330 Liberty Road, Stewartsville,
died thrusday, Jan 22, in her home.
She was a secretary for Dr. fineberg and later for Dr. Kramer,
both of Easton, and was last employed by Easton Orthopedic
Group in Easton before retiring in 1978.
Born Feb. 10, 1916, in Easton, She was a daughter of the
late Forrest and Caroline Morrison Hahn. She lived in Stewartsville
for the past 45 years.
She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Phillipsburg
and the Altar Care Committe of the church.
She was a member of Delaware Chapter 50, and Order of Easter
Star of Phillipsburg.
A 1932 graduate of Easton high School, she atended Churchman
Business School in Easton.
She and her husband, James W., observed their 59th wedding
anniversary last May 7..
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter,
and two granddaughters.
A brother, Russell, and two sisters, Martha Styers and Nellie
Bryan, died earlier.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Rupell Funeral
Home, 465 Memorial parkway, Phillipsburg. Call 10 a.m. Monday
to time of of services in the funeral home. Burial will be
in Hay's Cemetery in Easton.
