Marshall Hahn, 68, Leader In Palmer Twp. Activities
Marshall M. Hahn, 68, of 828 Stones Crossing, Palmer township, died Thursday in University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadlephia, where he had been a patient for a month.

He was a self-employed publiv accountant for 35 years.

Born Oct 2, 1909, Williams Township, he was a son of Ester Bibighaus Hahn of Alexandria, Va and the late Maj. Russell Hahn.

He helped organize the first volunteer fire department in Palmer Township and was active in Civil Defense. He was past president of the Lower Palmer Township PTA. He was a former deputy county controller, and a justice of the peace from 1946 to 1952.

A charter member of St. Andrews Lutheran chruch, Palmer Township, he was later president of the church council and fiscal consultant for the Northeast Pennsylvania Synod.

He was a member of Easton Lodge No. 152, F&AM; Easton Forest No 35. Tall Cedars of Lebanon, and the Lehigh Consistory in Allentown.

He was secretary and treasurere of the Wells Hunting Camp i Pike County. He was vice president and chairman of the legislative committee of the American Association of Retired Persons, Palmer township chapter.

He graduated from Easton High School in 1928 and attended Churchamn Buisness College, Easton.

Survivng in addition to his mother are his wife, Catherine Dull Hahn; a daughter, a sister, Mrs. Jane Cram of Alexandira, Va; a brother Frank Hahn of Reading and one grandson.

The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m Tusday in St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, Palmer Township. Interment will be in Easton Heights Cemetery.
