Russell Hahn, Ex0Easton Store President, Dies
Was Associated With Hardware firm 30 Years.
Russell J. Hahn, 48, of 1276 S. Broad St., Trenton, N.J.,
former co-owner and president of Miller Brothers Easton Associates
Inc., died this morning in Mercer Hosptial, Trenton. He was
hospitalized Saturday.
Mr. Hahn was associated with the hardware store 30 years.
The business was founded in 1935 by Albert and Philip Miller.
After Albert's death in 1949, it was decided to turn the
Easton business over to the nine men who staffed the store.
Mr. Hahn served as president from 1955 to 1957.
Mr. Hahn also served as an officer in the Easton Area Industrial
Management Club.
He moved to Trenton two years ago where he operated Bell's
Candy Shop. He formerly resided at Brown's Terrace, Easton
R.D. 4.
Mr. Han was born Nov. 20, 1917, in Easton, a son of Mrs.
Esther Bibighaus Hahn, Easto and the late Maj. Russell Hahn.
His father, a former executive officer of the 213th Regiment
(Anit - Aircraft), Pennsylvania National guard, died in 1940.
Mr. Hahn was of the United Church of Christ faith and an
Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his widow, the former Edith Mason; a son,
three brothers, Forrest, Lympia,
Pa.; Marshall, Palmer Township, and Frank, Raleigh N. C.
and a sister, jane, wife of Jack Cram, Alexandria, Va.
Funeral arrangments are being made by the Strunk Funeral
