Mrs. David J. Burke
Mrs. Carrie M. Burke, 87, died this morning at the home of
her cousin, Dallas Dietz, 319 S. 2nd St., Bangor, with whom
she resided. She was the widow of David J. Burke, a former
Bangor Postmaster.
Mrs. Burke was born in Flicksville a daughter of the late
Aaron K. Heller and Emma E. Gruver Heller. She was a dressmaker
in the Bangor area before her marriage.
She was a member of St. John’s Reformed Church, Bangor,
and it’s Dorcas Class.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Miller
Funeral Home, Bangor.
