Edith May Hevener,of 754 Walnut St., Easton, died Friday in Eastwood Convalescent Center, Wilson.

She was employed by the Easton Express for more than 50 years before retiring, most recently in the display advertising department.

Born in Palmer Township, she was a daughter of the late Samuel J. and Mary D. (Weber) Hevener.

She was a member of First United Church of Christ , Easton.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Freer and Mrs. Martha E. Bowlby, both of Easton.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Shillinger Funeral Home, 810 Lehigh St., Easton. There will be no calling hours.
