John F. Hoover, Used Car Dealer in Area, Was 60
John F. Hoover, 60, Easton R. D. 2, was pronounced dead on
arrival at Easton Hospital after he had suffered a heart attack
at his home at 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
Mr. Hoover was a used automobile dealer on Bushkill Drive,
Easton R.D. 2 for the last 30 years. Before that he was employed
by C.K. Williams & Co., Easton. He had been ill for two
years.
He was a member of Easton Aerie 111, fraternal Order of Eagles,
and was of the Evangelical and Reformed faith.
He was born July 27, 1895, at Easton, a son of the late Levi
and Elizabeth Steckel Hoover.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Margaret Heil Hoover; two stepsons,
Edwin H. and Manley G, Brittain Jr., both of Easton, and one
grandchild.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Heck Memorial
Home, Easton. |
