Mrs. Garner A. Cline
Mrs. Edith M. Hulshizer Cline, a former resident of Stewartsville, died suddenly last night at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Harry F. Breen, of 1217 Bushkill Street.
Twice married, Mrs. Cline’s second husband, Garner A. Cline, died in 1938. Her first husband, Edward M. Miller, died in 1907. Mrs. Cline had resided in Stewartsville nearly all her life, and had been with her daughter for the last four years.
Her parents were the late James and Mary Catherine Hushizer, Mrs. Cline was a member of Stewartsville Presbyterian Church, the Ladies Aid and Missionary Societies, Christian Endeavor, and the Steadfast Class, all of the church.
She also was a member of Grace and Unity Council 157, Sons and Daughters of Liberty, of Stewartsville; Delaware Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, of Phillipsburg, and the White Shrine of Jerusalem, of Easton.
Surviving in addition to Mrs. Breen, are a son, Lamont H. Miller, of Phillipsburg; seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. There also are several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. from the Stone funeral home, Stewartsville. The Rev. M.H. Loolian, of Plains, Pa., former pastor of Stewartsville Presbyt4erian Church, will conduct the service. Burial will be in Stewartsville Presbyterian cemetery.
