Mrs. Elmira Kiefer Smith, 94 widow of the Rev. John H Smith a retired pastor of the Reformed Church, and at one time pastor of Memorial Church, Wilson Borough died suddenly at 9:15 this morning at her home, 414 McCartney Street. she had been an invalid for three years.
Mrs. Smith was born at Raubsville, on August 26, 1850 a daughter of the late John and Sarah Kiefer. She was a member of the First Methodist Church, Easton.
She is survived by one step-son Roscoe Smith of Easton, three step-daughters. Misses Flora B Smith and Elizabeth M Smith at home, Mrs. .Henry Schmell Royerford, PA a nephew William Grube of Raubsville and a number of other nieces and nephew residing in this vicinity. |
