Mrs. Earie C. Helm Sr.
Mrs. Mabel Kiefer Helm, 83, formerly of Easton R. D. 4, died this morning at Easton Hospital where she was a patient 12 days. She was a guest at the Mary Ellen Convalescent Home, Hellertown. She was ill five years.
Born Oct 2, 1886, in Revere, she was a daughter of the later Samuel and Mary Hahn Kiefer.
Her husband, Earie C. Helm Sr., died Sept. 1, 1963.
Mrs. Helm was employed by Schaible's Bakery for many years.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran (New Williams) Church, Williams Township; it's Luteran Church Women, and Unit 12, Mothers of World War II.
Survivors include a daughter Mrs. Kenneth E. Warman, Easton; four sons, John S., Ellerslie W.R., Earie C. Jr. and Kenneth S., all of Easton R.D.4; 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Mary Ann Kreitz, died in 1968.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Strunk Funeral Home, Easton. Interment will be in New Williams Cemetery. |
