Roland B. Kiefer
Roland B. “Jerp” Kiefer, 64, 116 2nd St. West Catasauqua, died yesterday morning at his residence after a lengthy illness.
Born in W. Catasauqua, he was the son of the late Harry and Laura (Frey) Kiefer.
He served as a brakeman for the Jersey Central Railroad for more than 30 years.
Surviving are three brothers, Clarence of Coplay, Orville of Kunkletown, Paul of Muncy, and a sister, Henrietta, wife of Michael Rasley of N. Catasauqua.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 Highland St., Allentown, Viewing will be 7-8:30 pm. Tuesday. |
