Roy Benjamin Kiefer
Roy Benjamin Keifer, son of Mrs. Anna Raub and the late Peter
J. Kiefer, of Easton R.D. 2, died this morning at 5:30 at the
Easton Hospital, of cerebral-spinal meningitis aged 22 years.
He was admitted to the hospital on Saturday afternoon at 5
o'clock. For a number of years he had been sufferer form asthma
and in January was taken seriously ill with tonsillitis and
quinsy. Cerebral-spinal meningitis developed later.
Deceased was born on March 19, 1909. He is survived by his
mother, Mrs. Anna Raub Kiefer, and by one brother, Arthur Kiefer,
and three sisters, Mrs. William Benn, Mrs. Earl Beers and Mrs.
Carl Kriel and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Raub,
of Easton R.D. 2. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church,
Williams Township.
