Mrs. Hilda I. Garrison, 80, of 75 N. Lehigh Ave., Wind Gap,
formerly of Saylorsburg and Nazareth, died Saturday in Easton
Hospital. She was the widow of Charles Garrison.
She was a cook for several area restaurants and previously
was a seamer for the former Kraemer Hosiery Mills, Nazareth,
for many years.
Born in Belfast, she was a daughter of the late Howard and
Sarah (Young) Knecht.
She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Nazareth.
Surviving are a son, Richard Stauffer, with whom she resided;
a brother Russell of Wilkes-Barre; a sister, Erma Rumsey of
Nazareth; and two grandsons. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday
in the Schmidt Home, 202 West St., Wind Gap. A calling hour
will precede the services. |
