Lloyd W. Knecht
Lloyd W. Knecht, 82, of Edgeboro Blvd, Bethlehem, died Saturday
in his home.
He was a retired assistant comptroller for Bethlehem steel
Corp., where he worked for 30 years.
Born in Hanover Township, on Aug 11, 1896, he was a son of
the late William and Mary Alice Knecht.
He was a former treasurer of the Bethlehem Club and the Beaver
Run Hunting and Fishing club, Beaver Run. He was a member of
Christ United church of Christ, Bethlehem; Bethlehem Lodge
No. 263, F&AM, for 20 years, and Lehigh Consistory Masonic
Orders.
His wife, the former Ruth E. Siegfried, died before him.
Surviving is a daughter.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow in the Bartholomew
Funeral Home, Bath. Interment will be in Green Mount Cemetery,
Bath. |
