Marie E. Johnson, 84, of 2686 Wassergass Road, Hellertown, died June 18 in her
home. She was the wife of the late Wilbur E. Johnson Sr.
She was a trimmer for the former Casco Co., Hellertown, for
16 years before retiring.
Born in Upper Nazareth Township, she was a daughter of the
late Charles J. and Mary A. (Bartholomew) Knecht.
She was a member of Lower Saucon United Church of Christ,
Hellertown.
Survivors: Sons, Wilbur E. Jr., John J. and Richard E., and
daughter, Sylvia C. Yenolevich, all of Hellertown; sisters,
Pearl Stout of Hellertown, Eva Bartholomew of Las Vegas, Nev.;
19 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren. A son, David A.,
died last year.
Services: 10 a.m. Monday, Heintzelman Funeral Home, 326 Main
St., Hellertown. Call 9-10 a.m. Monday.
