Robert Knecht
Robert Knecht, aged 68 years died at his home at Cherry Hill,
Bushkill Township, at 1:45 o’clock this morning. Death
was due to a complication of ailments after an illness of
three weeks. Besides his widow he leaves four sons, Howard,
of Belfast, Calvin and Stewart of Cherry Hill and Floyd of
Nazareth; also by one brother, Daniel Knecht, of Lower Nazareth;
two sisters, Mrs. Mary Edelman, of Palmer Township, and Mrs.
Amandus Reimer, of Johnsonville, and twelve grandchildren.
The deceased was a member of St. John’s Reformed Church,
Nazareth, and the Knights of the Golden Eagle, of that place.
The funeral will take place on Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock
from his late home. Services will be held at St. John’s
Reformed Church, Nazareth and interment will be made in St.
John’s Cemetery. |
