Clifford Krantz, Retired Engineer For P P & L, 73
Clifford Harrison Krantz, 73, of 907 Ferry Street, Easton,
died at 5:20 a.m. today in Easton Hospital. He was hospitalized
two weeks.
Mr. Krantz was employed as an evaluation engineer by the Pennsylvania
Power & Light Co., Allentown, for 25 years. He retired
eight years ago.
Born on Sept. 7 1888 in Easton, he was a son of the late Garibaldi
and Catherine Williams Krantz.
Mr. Krantz was a member of Hugh DePayens Commandery 19, Easton;
Easton Royal Arch Chapter 173, Easton Lodge 152, F&AM,
and Easton Forest 35, Tall Cedars of Lebanon.
Survivng are his widow, the former Olive C. Walter; a daughter,
Joyce, wife of Robert Markson, New York City; two sisters,
Mrs. Walter Bast, Chadwicks, N.Y., and Miss Elizabeth S. Krantz,
Easton; three brothers, Clark R. and Walter A., both of Easton,
and Russell, Merchantsville, and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Bender Funeral
Home, Easton. |
