Raymond L. LaBarre, 86, of 190 N.E. 133rd St., North Miami, Fla.,
formerly of Bethlehem Township, died Monday in Southeastern Osteopathic
Hospital, North Miami.
He was a salesman for Electrolux Corp., Allentown, for more
than 47 years, retiring in 1981, and was associated with his
father in the sheet metal business for 20 years.
Born March 7, 1896, in Phillipsburg, he was a son of the late
Aaron and Ida LaBarre. He lived in the Phillipsburg-Easton area
most of his life, moving to Florida two years ago.
Mr. LaBarre was a member of North West Baptist Church, Miami.
He had been a member and treasurer of the First Baptist Chruch,
Phillipsburg, for many years.
He and his wife, the former Esther Everhart, celebrated their
55th wedding anniversary in September.
Surviving in addition to his wife are four sons, a daughter,
a sister, Anna Everly, North
Miami; 20 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held under the direction of the Dan Orsvel
Funeral Chapel, North Miami.
