Verna R. Gardner -- L. Nazareth resident
Verna R. Gardner, 77, of 4456 Hanoverville Road, Lower Nazareth
Township, died Tuesday, Oct. 2 , in her home. She was a housewife.
Born Nov. 29, 1920, in Lower Nazareth Township, she was a
daughter of the late William and Minnie Fehnel Laubach. She
was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of
Hecktown. She and her husband, Stanley, observed their 58th
wedding anniversary in September.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, *****
and *****, both of Nazareth; two daughters, *****
and *****, both of Bethlehem; a brother, Walter Laubach
of Bethlehem; and 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Two brothers - Roy and Merritt - and four sisters - Dana Hartzel,
Esther Lahr, Elda Roth and Lena Newheart - all died earlier.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Reichel Funeral
Home, 220 Washington Park, Nazareth. Call 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Thursday in the funeral home. Burial will in Hope Cemetery
in Lower Nazareth in Lower Nazareth Township. |
