Richard W. Lee, 85, of Smithfield Township, died Tuesday,
July 11, in his home. He was the husband of Julia M. Lee,
who died in 1990.
He was a custodian for the East Stroudsburg School District
before retiring. Previously, he worked for the Bethlehem
Steel Corp. and the former Tucker Chevrolet, Stroudsburg.
Born in Monroe County, he was a son of the late Warren and
Lottie (Kautz) Lee.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 1106, Stroudsburg
and a member of the Shawnee Volunteer Fire Company.
Survivors: Sons, ***** of Shawnee, Monroe County and
***** of Marshalls Creek; sister, Ethel Stout of Snydersville,
Armstrong County; two grandchildren; a niece and a nephew.
Graveside services: 11 a.m. Thursday, Kellers Cherry Valley
Cemetery, Cherry Valley. Arrangements, William H. Clark Funeral
Home, Stroudsburg.
