Peter H. Long
Peter H. Long, 77 years old, a retired miller, died this morning
at this home on Maplewood Road, Riegelsville, after an illness
of six months. He had been living in Riegelsville for a month
and prior to moving there had lived in Raubsville for 18 years.
At one time he was proprietor of a flour and feed mill in Coffeetown,
Williams township and he retired twenty years ago.
Mr. Long was born in Williams township, a son of the late
Mr. and Mrs. Mahlon Long. He spent most of his life in that
township.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Laura Long; two step=daughters,
Mrs. Harold Johnson, of Tatamy and Miss Esther Houck, at home;
also by three nephews, Roy Klotz, of Bethlehem; Raymond Klotz,
of Phillipsburg, and Kenneth Long, of Philadelphia; one niece,
Mrs. Elizabeth McEwan, of Richmond Pa. He was a ember of the
Reformed congregation at Durham Church.
Funeral Monday at 2:30 from the late home in Riegelsville,
Interment in Durham Church, Cemetery. |
