Claude J. Luch, 74, Retired Railroader
Claude J. Luch, 74, of 2406 Butler Street, a retired employee of the Lehigh Valley Railroad, died Saturday at 6:45 p.m in Betts Hospital.

Mr. Luch who entered the hospital on Thursday, had been in failing health several years. He retired from the railroad seven years ago after working many years as a plumber and steamfitter

Born in Easton, he was a son of the late Eugene E. and Matilda Paulus Luch. He resided at the Butler street address for the last 30 years.

Mr. Luch was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church on North Forth Street. He was active in Masonry, serving as a member of Dallas Lodge 396, F. AND A. M.; Easton Chapter 173, R.A.M.; Pomp Council 20, R. and S.M. and Hugh de Payens Commandery 19, Knights Templar, all of Easton, and Rajah Temple, A.A.O.N.M.S. of Reading. He also was a member of Lehicton Lodge 244, I.O.O. F, Easton

Surviving are his wife, the former Ella D. Bennett, and a sister, Mrs. Beulah Gross, of Easton.
